Our Deals Philosophy
The PC deals section of most sites is a wasteland of fake discounts. A retailer marks something up 30%, then offers it at “25% off.” We don’t link to those. Every deal on this page is checked against the lowest price the item has reached in the past 12 months. We only feature it if the current price is within 5% of that historic low, or if the product itself is a category-leader regardless of price.
Featured This Week
RTX 5070 Ti — Best Sweet-Spot GPU
The single best GPU value in 2026 for high-refresh-rate 1440p builds. Look for non-OC ASUS Prime, Gigabyte Gaming OC, or MSI Ventus variants at or near MSRP. Anything 10% over MSRP is not a deal and is not worth it.
Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB — Best Primary SSD
This drive routinely hits $130-$140 on sale, which is excellent. Below $130 is rare and worth jumping on. Above $160 means wait — it’ll drop again within 4-6 weeks.
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
The reference AM5 memory kit. Around $115-$130 on sale is the buy zone. Above $150, wait.
LG 27GR93U-B 4K Gaming Monitor
Tracks between $599 and $749 throughout the year. Anything at or below $649 is worth buying immediately if you want a no-compromise 4K monitor.
How to Spot a Real Deal
- Check the 12-month history on tools like PCPartPicker, Camelcamelcamel, or Keepa
- Beware of “limited time” framing — most of these are evergreen markdowns rebranded
- Compare across multiple sites — even “exclusive” sale prices are usually matched on other retailers within a week
- Watch the seller, not just the price — third-party Amazon sellers sometimes list discounted products that are actually used or refurbished
When Are the Real Sales?
Components: Black Friday and Prime Day are still the best windows for SSDs, RAM and CPUs. GPU pricing is less seasonal and tracks with supply.
Pre-built PCs: Back-to-school (July-August) and Q1 (January) clearance are the best times for laptops. Custom desktop pre-builts go on sale year-round; check small-builder sites like Origin and Maingear in addition to mainstream retailers.
Monitors: Back-to-school again, plus the weeks before CES (early January) when retailers clear old inventory.
