Open data, API and AI access

Everything in the First Computer Atlas is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0. Credit "The First Computer Atlas (computermultiverse.com)" with a link.

Downloads

• computers.csv / computers.json: the 86 computers with maker, year, launch price, price in today's dollars, CPU, memory and storage.
• entries.csv: every public entry (computer, year got, country, date added). Names and memories are not included.
• stats.json: totals by computer, country and decade.

JSON API

No key needed. Please cache responses and keep to a few requests per minute.

For AI assistants (MCP)
